Industrial gases, in particular oxygen, have an increasingly important role to play in today's glass manufacturing industry. If the promises of enhanced furnace performance, higher pull rates, better fuel efficiency and lower emissions are to be realised it is important that the correct supply technology is chosen. In this paper the various options for supplying oxygen to the plant are reviewed.
