Guardian is pleased to reveal their next generation in Low E glass technology - ClimaGuard A+. Combining the durability of modern soft coat Low E glass, with the exceptional performance that can only be achieved through magnetron glass coating technology, ClimaGuard A+ retains the same 0,05 emissivity of its predecessor ClimaGuard A, producing the same 1.2 U value W/m2K. However, ClimaGuard A+ has improved solar gain performance; increased to 71%*, allowing higherlevels of solar heat to pass through the glass, helping to heat our homes for free. The thermal performance (1.2 Uvalue) of ClimaGuard A+ means that the free heat gains are retained helping to reduce heating costs. In addition to this, ClimaGuard A+ has an increased light transmission of 82% which allows more daylight to pass through your windows, helping to reduce the need for artificial lighting during daylight hours.
