Guardian Enters Russian Market

Global flat glassmaker Guardian has entered the Russian flat glass market for the first time, with a 750/tpd float line in Ryazan which will be known as Guardian Steklo Ryazan. The plant will produce clear, float glass from 3mm to 12mm thick. The first ribbon of glass was due to be pulled at the end of July 2008.
