Green Tv Laws Store Up Mountain Of Trouble

The conclusions of two years of research in the Netherlands by a group from the Centre for Environmental Science of Leiden University, Delft University of Technology and Philips, state that Europe faces the prospect of a "dead television" mountain as its countries pass laws forcing manufacturers to take back worn-out tv sets and computer monitors. Prices are set to rise as manufacturers are forced to redesign existing models.
