Global Soda Ash Market And The Environment

The global soda ash industry has seen many changes over recent decades. Solvay has remained the largest producer in the world but its share of total world capacity has declined as other new players have entered the market. The most significant recent change is the emergence of Ciner of Turkey as the second largest producer in the world as it brings to production 3/mt of new low cost capacity in Turkey. Ciner has also owned capacity in Wyoming in the USA since 2015. This article gives an overview of global soda ash production to-date.
