Glaxis Technology Licensed For New Pos Software

Quest Software has launched the latest version of its GLASSquote Windows point-of-sale software, including a new Quest Information Exchange (QIX) interface that streamlines business operations by using GLAXIS technology for direct electronic connection to insurance and fleet claims managers. GLAXIS is a technology unit of PPG Industries. Using the new GLASSquote software, retail auto glass shops can electronically receive work assignments from fleet or insurance claims managers or request additional parts authorisations and approvals. Quest claims the direct connection reduces data entry, time spent on the phone, and rejections in claims invoicing, all of which increase auto glass installers' profitability and cash flow.
