Glass Tube Inspection Technology

Recently, the glass tube inspection technology market has been driven by an increasing focus on quality from the backlight segment, leading to a steep increase in production facilities. Backlight inspection has developed in capacity and accuracy, and has broadened the range of detectable defects. This article argues that backlighting inspection technology can be adapted for new glass markets, such as pharmaceutical tubing, where quality demands are just as high but with less emphasis on optical defects.
