Glass-Metal Interaction During Glass Pressing Processes: The Influence Of Lubrication

The TNO Glass Group has developed a laboratory installation that simulates the glass pressing process on a small scale. By a better understanding of the corrosion mechanisms, a better selection of process settings, tool materials and application techniques can be made to reduce wear, to extend lifetime of the forming tools and to reduce lubrication.
