Glass Matrix Composite Materials With Dispersion Reinforcement. A Review - Part 1: Historical Development And Fabrication Techniques

This review covers early and current international research on the fabrication, microstructure, properties and applications of dispersion reinforced glass matrix composites. Powder technology and hot pressing are the standard processing techniques employed to fabricate these composites, however, other techniques, including sol-gel and colloidal processing have been considered.
