The Glass Industry Draws Together In The Name Of Progress

The European Domestic Glass (EDG) Committee Conference, held in Edinburgh from 12-14 May last year, heard a call for greater cooperation within the glass industry. This speech, given by Paolo Barducci, Chairman of the ICF, (International Crystal Federation) and guest of EDG describes the joint approach to the EU Commission made by the EDG and the ICF in order to exploit the diversity in the industrial glass world, while facing the challenges of expanding and emerging markets and an ever more closely integrated Europe.
