Glass Industry And The Environment: Evolution, Problems, Opportunities

Glass is an intrinsically ecological material: it is inert, 100% recyclable for countless times. To produce glass it is necessary to use energy and in the combustion process gaseous emissions are formed, which are dispersed in the atmosphere. This paper highlights possibilities to reduce these emissions, looking at primary and secondary measures.
