Glass Houses In Australia?

A researcher has predicted that Australians could soon be living in solar-powered glass houses as part of the battle against climate change. Prof John Bell from the Queensland University of Technology's Institute for Sustainable Resources, said houses made almost entirely of glass solar cells could become a reality within the next 3-5 years. Solar cell glass would make a significant difference to energy costs and a house comprising large areas of cells could potentially become completely self-sustainable. He said the glass would be available commercially within five years.
