Glass Grinding Machinery

The manual glass grinding machine from Collanti Parini is, according to the manufacturer, able to grind (manually) glass and mirror with thicknesses up to 7mm, obtaining three different grain sizes: sand, rice, coffee. The machine is equipped with two internal rollers, which are tempered and cemented and are, as a result, extremely robust and have a practically unlimited working life. Moreover, the rollers also enable to grind without almost any micro trace of metal. Its main advantages are the possibility to use coloured cullet from other processes; thus doubling savings. this, in turn, also decreases the costs of disposal, as well as eliminating costs for the acquisition of new material. The ground glass can be stored in kilns or with Collanti Parini's special transparent bi-component resins, obtaining numerous types of artistic decoration.
