Glass-Forming And The Properties And Glasses In The Bageo3-Bab204-Mgf2 System.

In the studied BaGeO3-BaB204-MgF2 system, the glasses most resistant to crystallisation are those along section 1 with a constant mole ratio of BaGeO3: BaB2O4 = 1:1. The addition of MgF2 to glasses of the psuedobinary systems BaGeO3=MgF2 and BaB2O4-MgF2 and along section 1 leads to a decrease in the refractive index and density.
