Glass Flowers

They have been described as "an artistic marvel in the field of science and a scientific marvel in the field of art." There is no better definition for these glass flowers which have been in bloom for over a century. More than 3,000 delicate models created by Leopold and Rudolph Blaschka, father and son, as well as partners in glass artisanship, they can still be admired today at the Harvard Museum of Natural History in Cambridge, MA, USA.
