Glass Firm Opens New Factory

A Welsh glass company, aiming to get into the top 5% of glass manufacturers in the UK has opened a major factory. Wyndham Plastic & Glass will be able to double the volume of products it is capable of producing at its new 40,000 sq ft premises in Bridgend. The company says the building has secured its future & will provide much-needed skilled jobs for the community. Steve Clarke MD said the company is bucking the downward trend in manufacturing in Wales. He said home-grown companies can be profitable & competitive with the proper investment & encouragement. WP&G's expansion comes on the back of a 4y £2m capital investment programme.
