Glass In Domestic Appliances

The first part of this article looks at the many uses of glass in the domestic appliance industry, examining first consumer needs, then the supply side of the industry. In further parts it will also takes a close look at today's beautiful and brash glass applications from works of art to pure, crude cut and paste jobs and examines the quantity/quality cost/product development equation, and extend the investigation to assess what role innovation and time-to-market have to play.
