[Glass Compositions] Legislation Governing Crystal Glass - New Developments

In this paper, the author discusses developments in the chemical compositions of crystal glasses, paying special attention to relevant patent filings in the past 15-20 years. The classification of crystal glasses based on Directive 69/493/EEC is also discussed, with changes suggested to ensure the successful and economic manufacture of crystal glass.
