Glass Art Reflects The Future

Glass - that solidlike substance with a liquidlike atomic structure - has been known and used for several thousand years, yet it continues to remain a mysterious material. In an attempt to unravel some of the secrets of glass, the exhibit and lecture series "Glass Art Reflects the Future" held in the Schein-Joseph Int Museum of Ceramic Art at Alfred university, explores the making of art glass at the beginning of the 20th century to discover some of the origins of today's advanced glasses.
