Glass And Titania, Great Environmental Partners

This article reports on work being carried out at the University of New South Wales, who have three different research groups looking at various applications of titania - from batteries to photocatalysis to nanoparticles. When coated onto glass, titania promises both new market potential and good "green" credentials. The most obvious example of titania coatings is the "self-cleaning" window glass which is already a commercial success.
