It has taken slightly more than two years to complete, heavy investments and, most importantly, a good dose of courage and business spirit given the economic and financial turmoil in world markets recently - the new, recently-inaugurated Glass Alliance facility is now operating at full capacity. Glass Alliance comprises two companies, Fenzi and Alu-Pro. Based in Lipetsk, on the outskirts of Moscow, the company produces and distributes Thiover polysulphide sealants and Alu-Pro aluminium profiles respectively. The Russian market offers enormous business potential, because of the significant housing needs that are typically found in countries such as Russia with a fast-moving economy and lifestyle, and because of the climate which significantly increases the need for thermal insulation and therefore energy savings. Four production lines for aluminium profiles have been set up and are operating at full capacity. Market response has been enthusiastic, with demand covering the entire production capacity in the short term.
