Ghost Images On Screens - A Plague For Screenprinters

There are many different factors that interact with each other to cause ghost imaging. In ISO 12637-2: 1997 (E) 2.7A, a ghost image in screen-printing is defined as: "the unintended, partial alteration of the density of colour within the image through the influence of an earlier motif printed onto the same screen printing stencil carrier." This statement, however, is just the tip of the iceberg - the subject itself is much more complicated, as described in this article.
