More than 150 million glasses produced every year and over 160 design awards. The inventors of the Exclusive Glass claim to be able to create the ideal drinking vessel for every drink, combining art and technology. The Rastal company in the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Hohr-Grenzhausen, produces printed drinking glasses with photo quality images; their recently developed UV printing machine uses innovative UV printing technology that transfers images pixel by pixel. Production volumes at Rastal range from a few individual hand-painted glasses to series of several 100,000 items for the global brewing and beverage industry.
