[Germany] Ig Bce Trade Union Letter To Government Ministers Makes Reference To The Glass Industry

The IG BCE Chairman Vassiliadis made explicit reference to the glass industry in a letter to Environment Minister Hendricks and Economic Affairs Minister Gabriel. He pointed out that the current TA-Luft draft will result in investments of around EUR 90 million for the installation of SCR units on glass furnaces. He had taken this figure from a letter written by BV Glas to the IG BCE trade union and government ministries. It was preceded by in-depth discussions with IG BCE and an event with the works councils of companies in the hollow glass industry, where BV Glas had specifically explained the problem.
