German Container Industry Continues To Rise Out Of Recession

The most industrious country in Europe has an estimated 400 glass manufacturing companies operating within its territory, making it a major contributor to the German economy. Integral to this is its thriving container glass sector. In recent years there has been an increase in glass manufacturing sectors such as optical and pharmaceutical glasses in Germany. This article reports on the thriving glass container sector, which consists of 11 glass manufacturers with 30 plants, 62 furnaces and around 9000 staff between them.
