From summer to November 2007, CGS (Contemporary Glass Society) will be promoting a number of events in the South West of England, together with many partners in the field of contemporary glass, to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Including in this programme will be: Side by Side - an open submission glass exhibition in collaboration with the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, highlight excellence and innovation in contemporary glass. The exhibition will be at DEC, Bovey Trace, Devon from 22 Sept-4 Nov 2007, and is sponsored by Baroque Glass. Looking into Glass conference at the Eden Project, Cornwall, 29-30 September. Sponsored by Creative Glass Guild, wit the theme this year centred on sustainability, the environment, technology and recycling, the conference will provide a valuable platform for discussion, as well as sharing ideas/inspirations with talented artists.
