Gauging Blank Moulds

Penico has developed a new gauge which it believes makes old gauge technology seem outdated. The Penico Digital Blank mould Dovetail Profile Gauge measures a very important feature of the blank mould. If the dimension that this gauge measures was incorrect, the mould would not produce the correct containers. The traditional gauge was designed over 50 years ago. The new gauge has been trialled at OMCO UK; this company is delighted with the gauge. The OMCO group of companies has now bought a number of these gauges for their plants in the UK, Croatia & Belgium, and others have been sold in Germany, New Zealand and Portugal.
