Fuyao Group - New Plant For Hainan

Chinese glass producer Fuyao Group will invest CNY 2BN to build a high-quality flat glass plant at Laocheng Development Zone, Chengmai country, on the tropical island province of Hainan. The plant will have four production lines and will manufacture 700,000 tonnes of high-quality glass per annum. The company chose to locate the plant in Hainan because of abundant local reserves of quartz sand.
