The Future May Be Bright But It Needn'T Glow Orange

To a small business such as a crystal manufacturer, a title along the lines of "How to improve your energy efficiency and environmental performance" could be a red rag to a bull. It conjurs up images of campaigners campaigning or legislators legislating on how to run a business in a cleaner and greener manner but inevitably at a cost to the company. Why this knee-jerk reaction though? Granted, some legislation has restricted emissions both inside and outside the factory and this has resulted in costs. According to this paper from ETSU, however, there are also many opportunities for improving environmental performance, while simultaneously cutting unnecessary costs and increasing productivity.
