Fusion Cast Refractories For The Glass Industry

The terms fusion cast or fused cast are similar to electrocast in providing a description of the essential features of their manufacturing process. This consists of melting a refractory batch in an electric furnace. The homogenous liquid material is then cast into moulds of the desired shape.
