The Society of Glass Technology's Furnace Solutions 4 conference was held in Stoke-on-Trent in June, 2009. Around 65 representatives from major glass makers and furnace equipment suppliers from 6 different countries attended the conference. The objective of the one-day conference is to share experiences of and offer solutions to current glass melting challenges, with an emphasis on practical solutions.
