These standards are interrelated & enable the user to find out which glass product or test method standards should be referred to when considering a particular product related to the use of glass in building - Construction Products Directive (CDP) 89/106/EEC: Official Journal L 40, 11.2.1989, p.12 - & to the six Essential Requirements - Interpretative Documents (ID's): Official Journal C 62, 28.2.94, p.1 - laid down in the CDP.
