Full Cavity Protection For Glass Mould Blanks

Protec GM was introduced in 1998 as an alloy coating designed specifically for the glass container industry. Its prime objective was to extend the working life of glass moulds and blanks beyond normal industry standards. Sufficient operating practice within the industry over the last four years has provided data to quantify and confirm the benefits of Protec GM. Significant gains in the working life of mould blanks have been demonstrate, extending their lifetime by between 4-6 times, depending on application and operational routines.
