Frozen-In Fluctuations, Immiscibility And Crystallisation In Oxide Melts And The Structuarl And Thermodynamic Nature Of Glasses

This paper follows the development of ideas and results connected in several aspects with the achievements of E A Porai-Koshits, whose long years of successful work in the field of glass structure, of liquid phase separation and crystallisation in silicate melts determined mainly by the methods of small angle X-ray diffraction, developed by him to remarkable perfection.
