French Designs - Pierre Charpin (In French)

French designer Pierre Charpin first met glass in 1998 at the CIRVA in Marseilles. During four years, he has worked with a team of glass blowers to create a unique collection of forty pieces on exhibit until December at the Paris Musee des Arts Decoratifs. Pierre decided to reduce technical challenges creating simple basic shapes such as cylinders. Many new ideas came out of the project.
