This article shows the main developments that illustrate the direction in which automotive glazing is headed: interchangeable single framework, transparent roof for a complete canopy of glass, flushing and wrapping windows for roof encapsulation - fixed or removable, and colour coordination between the glass and car body. The glassmakers' products at the show are examples of what might be appropriate to meet carmakers' co-design.
