[France] Mitsiu Providing Traceability Services With Sca

A service provider specialised in the wine sector, MitSiu, Blanquefort (Gironde), has formed an association with Securite Certifiee Authentique (SCA), Bordeaux (Gironde), to add a traceability and authentification technology for wine bottles to its offer in order to combat various types of fraud. In addition to a label with a printed design invisible to the naked eye, SCA is proposing a stamp that cannot be falsified and a Datamatrix code on which a random and unique series number is printed. This number will also appear on the crates and palettes. Information relating to a production series can then be consulted on a database that can be accessed on the Internet with the number being used as the access code.
