Food Law Code Of Practice 2017

The Food Law Code of Practice gives statutory guidance to which local authorities must have regard when engaged in the enforcement of food law. Local authorities must follow and implement the relevant provisions of the Code. The Food Standards Agency published a revised Food Law Code of Practice (England) on 30 March 2017, which came into force on that date.Providing additional guidance on the communication of food incidents and hazards, and addressing food criminality HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a system that helps food business operators look at how they handle food and introduces procedures to make sure the food produced is safe to eat. A range of food safety management packs for different sectors of the food industry has been developed to help food business operators manage their food safety management procedures.
