It is reported that TIT Fords Lad. has secured an order from Dowe Egbert for 2 machines to heat seal aluminium foil closures to glass coffee jars. Aluminium foil provides an air tight, liquid tight, tamper proof closure which is more easily removed than glued on paper diaphragms. Operation of the sealer id briefly outlined.
