A flurophosphate glass is composed of in mol%: 9-12 metaphosphate of Li, Na, k, Mg and Al; 81-90 fluorides of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba and Al; and 0.4-7 of at least one of KAsO3, K2TiF6, K2TaF and K2ZrF6. This glass has a refractive index of 1.47-1.53 and dispersion values of 75-85.
