Fluoridation Of Porous Glass.

Fluoridation of porous glass using ammonium fluoride causes a reduction in surface area, in one example, from 190 to 50m2/g (BET) In studies of fluoridated glass surfaces, changes in surface area must be taken into account for a correct evaluation of the effects of fluoridation.
