Fluorescene Of Hexavalent Uranium In Glass.

In glasses, haxavalent uranium may be present as uranyl groups or as urante groups. The uranyl groups give rise to fluorescence at room temperature , but both uranyl and urante groups show fluorescence at low temperature.
