Fluorescence Decay Times Of Divalent Manganese In Inorganic Glasses

The decay time of fluorescence from the Mn2+ ion has been measureed in a wide range of inorganic glasses. The decay times are of the same are of the saem order as those found in oxide phosphors and the decay is exponential in many phosphate glasses.
