Flow Pattern And Temperature Distribution Of Molten Glass In A Forhearth

The temperature distribution of glass in a forehearth was calculated using a mathematical model and results were compared using a mathematical model and results were compared with experimental data. A physical model experiment was also carried out. It was found that the glass flowed forward with a rotating motion and the shape of the velocity distribution was equally parabolic.
