The Flow Of Glass Under Constant Stress And Under Constant Strain

A study has been made to determine the accuracy of the laws which are generally held to apply to calculate the relaxation of stresses in glass at moderate temperature as a function of time. The main interest if these experiments is that the state of stabilisation of the specimens is controllable as desired and that when the specimen has reached the required state it is kept at constant temperature for the duration of the test.
