On The Flow Of Glass Through The Throat Of The Bridge-Wall Of A Glass Melting Tank.

Experiments with models have revealed that the throat current is influenced appreciable by pull rate as well as by the temperature at the inlet and outlet of the throat. The flow patterns obtained by calculating the velocities of two dimensional flow were found to be five to six times as large as those obtained by experiments.
