Flos V2/Fa, Feldspathic Sand With Low Fe203 Content For Tableware And Special Containers

FLOS V2/FA sand, produced by Sarda Silicati using the flotation process, represents a valid alternative to the use of high quality silica sand and potassium or sodium feldspars, which are the traditional materials used for the production of glass for tableware and special containers. This article describes the ore deposit, the treatment process and the characteristics of the sand obtained as a final product.
