Float Glass Plant In Poland

Guardian Industries Corp (USA) inaugurated its float glass operation in Czestochowa, Poland on 2 June 2004, with a plant tour and reception for government officials, customers, suppliers and contractors. Guardian broke ground on the facility in2002, making it the company's 22nd float glass line worldwide. It now employs ~300 people and produces some 600 tons of glass/day. The plant also boasts a state-of-the-art coating operation, which facilitates the production of thermal-insulating low-emissivity glass. (whole item)
