Flexible Processing Technology For Glassworks

Continuous changes and developments in the float glass market, combined with high (labour) production costs, require more and more flexibility and automation in handling and stacking processes. The possibility of stacking multiple sizes of glass with varying orientation, adapting not only to the product but to rack and equipment changes also, is presented in this paper, along with equipment for special glass cutting, conveying and control.
