Gnar Turkey has become the first cutomer to use Silgan White Cap's smallest closure, the 27mm Twist-Off. The cap is being used in the production of pomegranate juice for the North American market. The closure is 27mm diameter for the 250ml glass bottle to offer the consumer an attractive easy to open & safe to reseal packaging. The 27mm RRP is a redesign of the company's 27mm Regular Twist-Off metal cap. The key feature is the compound channel, which replaces the full compound. This results in a reduction of overall product migration due to a decreased compund contact area. There is also a reduced risk of floating particles.
